The company’s newest site will move into the former home of Super Oscar’s Mexican Food early next year, according to SanDiegoVille. Better Buzz currently operates 17 locations throughout San Diego County, with new sites coming soon to Bonita and Oceanside. The company has also recently announced plans to expand beyond San Diego County, reaching Orange County, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. Tim Langdon and Stephanie Garden founded the company in 2002.

When the new Better Buzz opens in La Mesa, customers can expect the company’s standard menu, which features various coffee and espresso drinks, organic smoothies, and an expanded breakfast and lunch menu. Not only is the entire menu delicious, but very health-conscious. Some food options include pastries, acai bowls, avocado toast, paninis, and grilled sandwiches, such as a turkey, pesto, and bacon on ciabatta. Regarding drinks, fan favorites are the Best Drink Ever and Mocha Buzz.

While the food and drinks have established this company as one of the most reliable coffee shops in San Diego County, what separates it from its competition is the beautiful interior of each location. No matter which site you visit, customers can expect a welcoming and bright environment that makes you want to stay a while. On top of being inviting, Better Buzz also features drive-thrus at select locations. The new La Mesa location will likely feature a drive-thru, considering the current building is a standalone building already with a drive-thru.
