Bonita is the next to get buzzed with a drive-thru location of Better Buzz Coffee in the works. According to a recent permit filing, the trending coffee roaster is planning a location on Bonita Road near Chula Vista Golf Course.
What Now San Diego recently reported on another permit filing to bring Better Buzz Coffee to Grantville, replacing a now-closed KFC drive-thru.
New plans submitted to the City of Chula Vista detail plans to install a drive-thru and walk-up window along with renovations to the building facade and full interior demolition of the 1,462-square-foot former office building.
Last year Better Buzz told Eater they were searching for additional locations, looking to expand into new areas across San Diego County with a potential to grow outside of California.
You can currently get your Better Buzz fix at 15 locations in San Diego and Temecula, serving cold brew, tea lattes, and blended drinks, plus a variety of pastries, acai bowls, toasts, and sandwiches.
