White Rice launched its debut food stall at Liberty Public Market in 2021 and expanded with a standalone spot in Normal Heights in 2022 called White Rice Bodega. Eater reports White Rice Panciteria is expected to replace its sister business Weapon Ramen at Market on 8th food hall in National City next month.

Known for its catchphrase, “Rice Bowls for All,” White Rice is an exploration of classic Filipino dishes featuring garlic rice topped with options like crispy pork belly or BBQ chicken skewers, plus favorites like kinilaw and their popular ube pandesal.

Under the umbrella of hospitality collective OpenGym, the group is preparing for its continued growth by holding hiring events in Barrio Logan this month. Esteban and his team are also in the process of opening Liberty Station restaurant Wildflour Delicatessen, which holds down a Thursday afternoon residency at Longplay Hifi as a leadup to its restaurant opening.

No word yet on when we can expect White Rice Linda Vista to open. Stay updated by following White Rice on Instagram
