Wynston’s Ice Cream Co. is expected to grow with another location in plans along the coast. A recent permit filing places the North County creamery replacing the now-closed ice cream shop Nice Cream in Del Mar.
Owners Sarah and Chris Wynn currently operate the flagship location of Wynston’s Ice Cream at North City in San Marcos. The husband and wife duo have turned their passion for ice cream into a neighborhood favorite in the growing mixed-use development.
Wynston’s offers a unique flavor list of small-batch recipes that have gathered various awards including the North America Ice Cream Association Blue Ribbon. Indulge in a rotating flavor list including options like Honey Almond, Mint Chocolate Chunk, and popular Blue Moon, with vanilla and citrus combined for a bright and sherbert-like style.
