Taking over a 5,000 square-foot rooftop space, the lounge will be set atop the Theatre Box on Fifth Avenue. The new bar and restaurant is a Tulum-inspired oasis and trendy gathering destination, featuring fun neon signs and modern decor.

The menu will be designed by King and Queen Cantina Founder Jorge Cueva, aka Mr. Tempo. Their food options will range from shareable plates like fresh seafood cocktail, to signature entree dishes like Mexican sushi rolls, tacos, and enchiladas.

The star of the show will of course be the Villa One Tequila and signature cocktails crafted tableside by their team, styled in work wear designed by Varvatos. Villa One Tequila Gardens promises over 240 options of drinks and cocktails, with a vast selection of 140+ Tequilas.

Villa One™ Tequila Gardens is intended to be a go-to spot for after-work cocktails and bites, with late night hours through the weekend for rooftop partying amidst stunning scenery courtesy of the Downtown San Diego skyline.

It’s unclear at this point when the tequila will start flowing atop Theatre Box, where Villa One Tequila Gardens will replace the current 5th and Sky Lounge. The project is expected to open later in 2022. Stay updated by following the new bar on Instagram for updates.
