The Oceanside project, The Brick Hotel, is nearing its finish. The historic 1800’s-era building is receiving a full transformation into a luxury hotel with deluxe dining amenities. Grind and Prosper Hospitality Group is involved in the whole process of design for The Brick Hotel’s restaurants, including a spin-off concept of Miss B’s Coconut Club called CocoCabana

CocoCabana shared stylish new renderings of the project in-progress atop The Brick. The images imply a breezy, beachside oasis with plenty of tropical greenery and rattan furniture to lounge in.

Another sister restaurant and open-air gem, Coco Maya, will arrive in Little Italy just ahead of CocoCabana in March 2022. Coco Maya will feature a tequila-forward cocktail menu and dishes rich in the flavors of Jamaica.

The Brick Hotel’s dining experience, curated by Grind and Prosper, also includes Q&A Restaurant and Oyster Bar. Chef Quinnton Austin of Louisiana Purchase in North Park designed the Q&A menu of New Orleans-inspired cuisine with a focus on oysters, from raw to char grilled or Rockefeller. Austin will also command the eats at CocoCabana, focusing on small bites to match the Caribbean-style theme.

Both restaurants are expected to open at The Brick Hotel in April 2022. Follow along with the progress of The Brick Hotel on Instagram and the tropical rooftop scene being built at CocoCabana.
