Known for their “Karaage” or Japanese Fried Chicken, Tenkatori was established in Oita, Japan in 1962. Their US expansion has grown Tenkatori in Southern California, with stops in Gardena and Costa Mesa.

On the menu, their bite sized nuggets of fried boneless chicken thighs are crispy on the outside with a tender, juicy inside. Served tossed in a sweet and sour or spicy sauce, a la carte or over rice. They also serve Karaage Sandwiches, or boxed family-style.
