Sycuan Casino and Resort in El Cajon is mixing in a new restaurant concept to their bustling Casino Resort family. Pink Buddha is a new restaurant concept, featuring Asian-inspired cuisine and a cocktail lounge.
Sycuan closed their previous fast-casual Asian restaurant called House of Fortune, presumably to rebrand and open as Pink Buddha. Other onsite dining at Sycuan include Bull and Bourbon Steakhouse, Viewpoint Neighborhood Kitchen which serves California-cuisine, and Elicit Asian Lounge which re-opens on November 4th.
The Sycuan team is keeping tight-lipped about the design and menu as they continue to finalize details. However, they’re currently pulling in staff and offering sign-up bonuses to join their launch team.
The menu will feature Asian dishes like dumplings, fried rice, plus cocktails in an Instagram-worthy setting. Current advertisements show renderings of the new space with counter service and a bright, colorful dining area with seating under pink cherry blossom trees.
