The Las Vegas-based hospitality Clique Hospitality Group is working on two new concepts, Salt Wind and Sea Pine, coming to Torrey Pines at 11220 El Camino Real.
The hospitality group is getting ready to debut these two new restaurants within the Torrey View by Breakthrough’s 10-acre life sciences campus being built in Torrey Pines, first reported by SanDiegoVille. The two restaurants are expected to open early next year. Customers can expect seasonally-driven menus prepared in collaboration between Clique Executive Chef Ryan Bullock and Corporate Chef Executive Chef Partner Jose “JoJo” Ruiz.
Clique Hospitality Group, founded in 2001 by Andy Masi and his partners Brian Massie and Shane Monaco, is known for some of the area’s most well-known eateries, including Lionfish, Oxford Social Club, and The Pool House for downtown’s Pendry San Diego hotel, Serēa Coastal Cuisine at Hotel Del Coronado, three concepts at San Diego’s Sycuan Casino, Temaki Bar Handrolls & Sake in Encinitas, and Joya Organic Kitchen in Torrey Pines. Clique Hospitality has also partnered with The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe to introduce new concepts, Lilian’s and Bing’s Bar.
While Salt Wind and Sea Pine are expected to open in a few months, Torrey View by Breakthrough is scheduled to open in Summer 2024. The new office complex will feature a conference center, fitness space, pickleball court, fire pits, park space, and an onsite restaurant and rooftop bar from Clique. While few details have been revealed about the concepts, they will surely be the go-to dining destination for the area.
