Padadak Chicken will take up residence at 595 Grand Ave, Suite 105 in San Marcos and at 9363 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, Suite R. Opening hours for these two locations have yet to be announced.

A food permit application obtained by What Now San Diego tells us the San Marcos space has 1,161 square-feet for Padadak to work with. The eatery will join a few others and some box stores in the San Marcos Creekside Market Place.

If you haven’t made it out to the flagship location in La Jolla, it’s helpful to know Padadak is the Korean word for “the action of a chicken fluttering powerfully towards the sky.” The eatery has taken the name with the mission to “provide high-quality food, authentic taste, and exceptional service to our customers.”

You can order chicken by wings, drums, or strips in an array of flavors. In addition, there are sides and specials to choose from. Visit Padadak’s website for more information.
