Merenda Wine is a new concept preparing for its debut in South Oceanside next year. The wine bar is confirmed to join one of two retail spaces at the new mixed-use development The Flats on South Coast Highway.
The Flats is by Fabric Investments, the urban development team behind the Tremont Collective and soon-to-open Freeman Collective in Oceanside, as well as State Street Commons in Carlsbad. The Flats will feature 18 apartments and 2,775 square feet of ground-level retail space.
The development project is in the process of building from the ground up on South Coast Highway and is expected to be completed by Q1 2024.
As for Merenda Wine, details are still coming together ahead of its projected 2024 opening. An Instagram page shares that the wine shop will also serve housemade snacks. Sign up for updates at their website.
