The property is currently in development to revitalize the lot into South State, featuring elevated dining and retail as seen in the initial renderings.

While details are unclear in its early stages of planning, SanDiegoVille shares that Gettin’ Sauced is expected to feature pizza, salads, a full bar, and a retro theme.

Markham operates other Carlsbad businesses like breakfast spot Crackheads, and Landmark Food Halls which introduced Windmill Food Hall. Landmark Food Halls is developing Miramar Food Hall in San Clemente alongside partner Mohammad Muhtaseb. There were also plans to expand Crackheads to Oceanside but there are currently no updates on the new location.

An opening date for Gettin’ Sauced is projected for August 2023, according to Markham. Stay tuned for updates as details become available.
