Construction is nearing completion for Topaz Apartments, a student housing development operated by Pierce Education Properties. The complex will include one to four bedroom apartments, a courtyard, study areas, fitness center, and ground-floor retail.
What Now San Diego previously shared that the new residential community will also feature another outpost of the ever-growing brand Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. A fourth business to join Topaz is still in the works.
Local entrepreneur Tali Burton holds exclusive rights with Inspire Brands to grow Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s across San Diego. Burton operates 15 Dunkin’ locations and recently signed a 27-unit agreement to introduce Jimmy John’s to the region. The first Jimmy John’s to join the area are planned for Vista and Hillcrest.
Applications are now open for pre-leasing ahead of Topaz Apartments opening in August 2023. Ground-floor retailers are expected to open by late Summer 2023. For more on Jimmy John’s, visit their website.
