Family-owned restaurant Roberto’s Taco Shop has added another location to its lineup of over 70 restaurants. SanDiegoVille reports the longstanding San Diego restaurant and champions of the California burrito will replace Tu Taco Taco Shop in Santee.
Founded in 1964 by Roberto and Dolores Robledo, Roberto’s Taco Shop put down its roots in San Diego with 14 locations locally. Beyond San Diego, Roberto’s also operates locations across Nevada and is now in Texas.
The menu at Roberto’s Taco Shop features classic family recipes and something for everyone, with breakfast burritos, enchiladas, rolled tacos, quesadillas, and Carne Asada fries.
Owner Jose Robledo tells What Now San Diego that Roberto’s Taco Shop in Santee is expected to be open by month’s end. Jose Robledo also operates another East County location in Lakeside and a handful of shops near the beach. Find your nearest Roberto’s Taco Shop location by visiting their Website.
