Mochinut continues to expand in North County, adding a new location to San Marcos next. The fast-growing donut shop has recently signed on to join San Marcos Pavilion shopping center.
The brand is planning a quick expansion across the US, with 48 stores currently open in California and another 20 on their way. According to their website, more locations are planned in Del Mar, El Cajon, and Temecula.
If you’re unfamiliar with Mochinut, their stylish bubble donuts are part Japanese Mochi rice cake and part American-style doughnut.
Mochinut shops keep things interesting with a rotating menu of weekly flavors like Churro, Matcha, Cookies N Cream, and Ube. The freshly-fried donuts are glazed, dusted with sprinkles and special toppings like crunchy cereal.
