Founded in 1972 by Jesus Soto, the business is now operated by Soto’s grandson Mark Mendoza. Mendoza opened Kennedy’s Meat Company in Escondido in 2018, highlighting the recipes perfected by his grandfather.
The Temecula location, introduced by Mendoza along with co-owner John Mayberry, will open in a 1,900-square-foot shop on the edge of the Promenade Temecula shopping mall on Margarita Street.
Guests can expect a similar menu and experience as the Escondido location with added flair, like the custom artwork created by San Diego-based Hanna’s Murals.
Known for their “Best in Class Carne Asada,” Kennedy’s offers a variety of choice cuts and grab-and-go marinated chicken or beef, and prepared sides. Locations offer catering services, a butcher shop and deli, plus a dine-in menu featuring tacos, burritos, loaded fries and more.
Kennedy’s Meat Market invites the Temecula community to visit on Saturday, May 6, for music, meat tastings straight from the grill, and prize giveaways including the first-ever “Summer of Kennedy’s Raffle Giveaway.” One randomly selected winner will be chosen to receive a summer of free meats from Kennedy’s, equivalent to 6 lbs of meat (carne asada or Pollo Asado) every week during Summer 2023 (Memorial Weekend – Labor Day Weekend). You must attend the grand opening for a chance to win.
