The company recently applied for a permit to open a new permanent site in the former home of El Kiki Mariscos Shop. There is no exact opening date, as owners are awaiting approval and final inspections before opening. When it opens, customers can expect 100% authentic birria de res with top-quality Angus meat. Birrieria La Loteria specializes in quesa tacos, ramen birria, and birria grilled.

Whether this is a new brick-and-mortar or a new site for the food truck, it is guaranteed to be a hit. The company continues to succeed in the San Diego area, recently posting that the food truck has sold out of all of its items and will return service later this week. As of now, the food truck sits at 6867 Federal Boulevard and features outdoor seating.

This will be an excellent location for the company, considering how many other restaurants and businesses are nearby. Birrieria La Loteria will share a space with Party Supplies, Tommy’s Tobacco, and IB Thai. In addition to being the newest Mexican eatery in the area, the restaurant will have limited competition, only having to compete against Alberto’s Taco Shop on 13th Avenue.
