After closing up shop at Pannikin Coffee in La Jolla, the longtime coffee experts will open a new space in their beloved neighborhood. The Flower Pot Cafe and Bakery will replace a former Rubio’s restaurant space on Fay Avenue

Owners Amanda Morrow and Gloria Serna have introduced their new venture to the community by serving as a pop-up cafe at The Lot in La Jolla. Loyal customers of Pannikin can grab handcrafted coffee drinks along with fresh baked goods in their temporary space. 

Their new home will be outfitted with a bakeshop, producing scones, muffins, vegan bars, and daily specials. 

Recent reports state The Flower Pot Cafe is expected to open later in Summer 2022. Follow The Flower Pot Cafe and Bakery on Instagram for updates.
