Elixir Juice is preparing to serve a health-focused menu of juices and smoothies in the heart of La Jolla. The juice shop is in the works at The International Shops, a grouping of 23 retail and restaurant outlets on Prospect Street in Downtown La Jolla.
Owner Zakaria Bakier tells What Now San Diego his passion for healthy food and drink led to the creation of Elixir. The cafe will serve cold-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and light foods like toasts with healthy toppings.
The location is not to be confused with Elixir Juice Del Mar, which is not affiliated with the La Jolla business.
According to Bakier, Elixir Juice La Jolla is undergoing some light remodeling and are anticipated to open by July 2022.
