Established in 2017 by Navy Veteran Eric Johnson, their flagship location can be found at Bikeway Village in Imperial Beach. Their second taproom opened in Coronado in 2021.

Trident taprooms serve their exclusive roasts, cold brew coffees, and keto-friendly baked goods. Their canned coffee beverages are sold at various stores throughout Southern California like Aldi and Valley Farm Market, and the brand has even ventured into making their own Keurig-compatible pods.

The business prides itself on partnering with non-profit organizations like Active Valor and regularly contributes to mission-based events in the community. The brand has built up “The Tribe” of athletes, health professionals, and Veterans who embody the Trident Coffee ethos. Their line of canned cold brew coffees keep their athletic and active customers in mind with flavors like the Churro Keto Latte infused with MCT Oil or Nitro Cold Brew infused with L-Theanine.

Their PB space looks to be in the midst of construction. Local beachgoers can expect the new Trident to open doors in July 2022. Stay updated by following on Facebook for more information.
