The company recently submitted permits in review for a new location in the Scripps Ranch Marketplace, hoping to move into El Pollo Loco’s current home. This will be the company’s eighth location in San Diego, following sites in 4S Ranch, Carlsbad, Del Mar, Downtown San Diego, Encinitas, La Jolla, and Mission Valley. There is no exact opening date for this site, considering the company is still waiting to have its plans approved before moving forward.

This isn’t the only location Mendocino Farms is working on, as the fast-growing restaurant chain is also working on a new location in Encino, opening on March 26, as well as new locations coming to Newport Beach and San Juan Capistrano, opening later this year, according to the company’s website. On top of having dozens of locations across California, the company is also slowly growing its presence through Washington and Texas. When these locations open, customers can expect a variety of sandwiches, salads, and more that are both delicious and healthy.

“At Mendocino Farms, your favorite food experience awaits,” according to the company’s website. “Our creative sandwiches, salads, and more take you on an unexpected culinary adventure with fresh ingredients and fearless flavor combinations.
