The ice cream shop is opening one location in North Park and another at The Beacon La Costa in Carlsbad.

While pints of Jeni’s ship to customers nationally and have been available at area Whole Foods, Ralphs, and Bristol Farms for a while now, scoop shops have not been. That’s about to change.

“We’ve been trying to get to San Diego forever, knowing we had to be patient to find the right locations,” Bauer said in the press release. “We’re excited to join the wonderful arts neighborhood of North Park as well as the coastal community at The Beacon. They’re both perfect.”

Available at the San Diego shops will soon be Jeni’s classic favorites like Gooey Butter Cake ice cream as well as brand-new flavors like Buttercream Birthday Cake.

The ice cream shop makes its flavors by forming partnerships with the growers, makers, and producers who supply them with ingredients.

A favorite of President Joe Biden’s, Jeni’s recently added the White House Chocolate Chip to honor the 46th President.
