Family-Owned Breakfast Spot Announces Closure in National City

Longtime breakfast spot, Family House of Pancakes, announced on social media they’ll be closing their doors in National City due to circumstances beyond their control. The happy news is that they’ve found a new location on Broadway in Lemon Grove to relocate their second restaurant.

Their flagship location in Chula Vista is to remain open as usual. The family-owned restaurant has been in operation since 1964. The National City location has been open since 2006.

Family House of Pancakes is a South Bay staple with a plethora of pancake options along with waffles, scrambles, omelettes, and egg combo plates. They’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering classic homestyle dishes. 

Their family story is the heart of the business, growing through the generations of the Spezzano family. Their ancestry is behind their continued dedication to the South Bay community. With an extensive and diverse menu, they are committed to bringing their original style to their new Lemon Grove location. 

The National City Family House of Pancakes is scheduled to close on January 2, 2022. The relocation to Lemon Grove is expected to take place in Early 2022. Keep updated by following their Facebook and Instagram
