“We’re going to be selling cold-pressed juice, smoothies, acai bowls, avocado toast, and coffee,” Benjamins shared with What Now San Diego. The café will source its coffee beans from a local roaster; Benjamins says Cultivate is in the process of designing choosing its vendors and designing its menu. A recent Instagram post announced the café plans to source Janes Baking Co. bagels. The bagels, made in Carlsbad, are naturally leavened and fermented in order to achieve that great sourdough taste.

Benjamins is excited, not just about the fresh and healthy items you can get your hands on at Cultivate, but about the space itself.

839 Mission Road is a stand-alone building in Fallbrook just up the road from Fallbrook Café. Benjamins has plans to partner Cultivate with her sister’s floral business, De Bloem Co. “DeBloem will be using the space mainly for preparation to create florals for events, selling daily’s + gifts goods, and will be hosting workshops teaching others how to create bouquets,” Benjamins said. The two shops will be connected so the florals and greenery will flow over into the café space. Café items will even come garnished with edible flowers. “The space is going to be really cute,” Benjamins added.

Currently, Cultivate’s opening date is set for 9/15 or 10/1 depending on how everything shakes out. Follow the café’s social media for a sneak peek.
