Permit intel obtained by What Now San Diego indicates the restaurant will soon open a fourth location. Zzang recently filed a permit application for 4545 La Jolla Village Drive in San Diego in Westfield University Town Center shopping mall. There the eatery will be in good company. What Now San Diego recently covered the expansion of Pacific Catch, a Bay Area-favorite, to UTC. ZZang will set up shop in suite FC3. The space is 506 square-feet in size.

If you haven’t yet sampled a Korean-style corndog, a recent post from Zzang’s Instagram does a nice job of highlighting the style: “popular in Korea this Korean style corn dog is nice and hot in the inside and crispy brown on the outside. With different sauce and coating options such as sugar or condiments, various flavors and textures trigger your taste buds.” The post continued, “with strong flavors of cheese or potatoes, from squid ink to classic sausage this Korean style street food is mouthwatering good.”
