Headquartered in Washington DC, CAVA recently made its public debut on the New York Stock Exchange. According to a report by QSR Magazine, the chain aims to reach 1,000 restaurants by 2032, exploring new formats for its locations like implementing drive-thru and digital kitchens.

San Diegans can currently find CAVA operating in La Jolla, Encinitas, One Paseo in Del Mar, and Mission Valley.

CAVA is known for its chef-inspired Mediterranean meals with customizable options. Its menu features salad and grain bowls, and pita wraps with bold flavors like Spicy Lamb Meatballs, Harissa Honey Chicken, and Braised Lamb. On the side, their pita bread and chips are a top choice with their selection of hummus and Crazy Feta (whipped feta dip).

Commercial real estate company Retail Insite shares redevelopment plans for Creekside Marketplace, which includes another 5,400 square feet of space for three new businesses with an additional 1,565-square-foot shared patio seating area.

An opening timeline for CAVA in San Marcos has not been announced. Visit their Website for more information and to download their app.
