The delicious sweet shop already operates from five Nevada shops and one in Truckee, CA, but is now expanding to San Diego with a new shop coming to the Pacific Plaza Shopping Mall, according to a recent announcement made on social media. Owner Anne Archer recently submitted plans to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality. Plans are still being reviewed, but Batch Cupcakery is expected to open in the first half of 2024.

“Batch is riding the wave to the beach!” according to the company’s recent announcement on Facebook. “We’re thrilled to announce our newest location in the sunny, vibrant heart of Pacific Beach, San Diego, California! Get ready for a sprinkle of seaside sweetness and a dash of California sun in every bite. Keep an eye out for our grand opening date – we can’t wait to share our delicious treats with the San Diego community.”

This new bakery will be perfect for Pacific Beach, an area where young adults strive to live healthy lives. The artisan bakery uses organic ingredients and sources locally whenever possible, making it a go-to destination for anyone who wants a sweet treat without feeling guilty about it. The Nevada-based bakery cooks with organic, non-GMO eggs, homemade vanilla, organic nuts, coconut, flour, and sugars. The company also offers various paleo, vegan, and gluten-free options.
