The Hive has an array of handcrafted cocktails that pay tribute to the libations of the 1920s. Accompanying the mixology is a curated menu of bites designed to complement the flavors of the era.

In addition to the crafted libations and cuisine, The Hive will host an array of live performances, showcasing local jazz musicians and other talented artists.

The Hive is a true speakeasy and is tucked away behind a hidden door. Guests will need to know the password to enter and they can find it out by following The Hive on instagram (@thehivelajolla).

“The Hive Speakeasy is an exciting addition to the Beeside Balcony family,” says Christophe Cevasco, Owner and Chef of Beeside Balcony in a statement. “We wanted to create an immersive experience that captures the essence of the Prohibition era, offering our guests a chance to step into a world of clandestine charm and extraordinary entertainment.”

With flowers hanging from the ceiling and candles lighting up the walls, the speakeasy is ready to open its doors to the public.

The Hive in La Jolla is located at 1025 Prospect Street, Suite 250, in La Jolla.
