North Park faithfuls, The Friendly, are working on adding a coastal burger destination in Pacific Beach. According to SanDiegoVille, the new outpost will replace Spot Brazil on Garnet Avenue next to Culture Training Club.
Established in 2018, The Friendly is known for their classic dirty flat-top burgers and pizza by the slice on 30th Avenue in North Park. A second North Park stop was added in 2019, replacing the former Carnitas Snack Shack.
Now, The Friendly is working on stops 3 and 4, adding locations to Convoy and Pacific Beach areas. Their Convoy Street location is in progress next to Tajima Ramen and Seoul Plaza.
The team from The Friendly will introduce their signature burgers and New York style pizzas to their new neighborhood of Pacific Beach. They also feature frequent specialty sandwiches, plus welcome other locals chefs to collaborate in-house to present customers with inventive new burgers.
