Owner Carrie Pongphila tells What Now San Diego So Saap is ready to move into a bigger space, with its new location being three times the size of its original Chollas View spot. Besides its larger size, the business has also applied for a beer and wine license to offer additional options to customers.

Specializing in Lao and Thai cuisine, So Saap offers a robust menu of traditional dishes like pad see ew, pad thai, papaya salad, and Laotian favorites like khao gee, and mok fish. So Saap also serves up freshly squeezed sugarcane juice with a variety of added flavors like watermelon, calamansi juice, and matcha.

So Saap plans to wrap up operations at its original space soon while they make some cosmetic upgrades to the dining area in its new space. So Saap is expected to reveal the new restaurant this summer but an official date has not been set. Stay updated by following So Saap on Instagram
