The owner of Kai Sushi Restaurant in Poway will open a second eatery, this time on Craftsman Way in San Diego. Sea Salt’s license to sell wine and beer is currently pending with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for 10550 Craftsman Way, Suite 186.

If Kai Sushi is any indication of what can be expected from the new eatery, here’s what you need to know. “We opened Kai Sushi Restaurant with one goal in mind: giving our guests a unique, delicious, and unforgettable experience,” shares Kai Sushi’s website. “Our menu reflects centuries of family cooking, offering traditional and innovative dishes, skillfully cooked to perfection.”

In addition to an array of sushi and sashimi, Kai serves ramen, udon dishes, and stir-fries. Cocktails, wine, beer, and sake also grace the eatery’s menu.

It looks like Sea Salt Pho & Sushi will open in 4S Commons Town Center and share the shopping center with Karl Strauss Brewing Company, Miguel’s Cocina 4S Ranch, and Capri Blu, among others. Owner Jongsik Hong told What Now San Diego Sea Salt is due to open in about two weeks.
