Poki Bowl is the latest restaurant to join The Row at Civita in Mission Valley. The “Seafood in a Bowl” fast-casual restaurant will move into a 1,145-square-foot unit on the ground floor of the Purl Apartments by Sudberry Properties.
Launched in 2015 in San Jose, CA, Poki Bowl is seeing fast growth through franchising. There are currently 11 locations of the chain open, the majority of which are in the South Bay Area.
The company has another 13 locations listed as “Coming Soon” on their Website, introducing poke restaurants in Texas, North Carolina, and Utah.
Local franchisee Amine Belkhalfia tells What Now San Diego the restaurant will serve traditional Hawaiian-style poke bowls. While the concept is familiar, Poki Bowl prides itself on transparency in sourcing their fresh seafood and ingredients. Serving fully customizable seafood bowls, guests are treated to a unique experience on each visit.
The poke chain will join the likes of El Tianguis Rolled Taquitos and Cork & Barrel at the new mixed-use development next to Civita Park. Belkhalfia shares that we can expect Poki Bowl to open at The Row at Civita by Late 2022. Follow Poki Bowl on Instagram for more information.
