Owner Matt Whiffen tells What Now San Diego they’ve secured a commercial kitchen space in the UTC area and have another location pending.

“We’re expanding our footprint in San Diego and the kitchen will help us fulfill online orders and service the UTC, Sorrento Valley, and Miramar areas. Plus make enough for the Liberty Station store,” says Whiffen.

The Mini Donut Company opened at Liberty Station’s Public Market in January 2022 and offers catering services. Whiffen shares, “We deliver to commercial businesses and offices, plus we’re doing a lot of parties and weddings.”

From glazed to sprinkled or topped with crunchy cereal, they offer bite-sized treats in a variety of flavors daily. Plus seasonal and holiday specials or custom orders for any occasion.

Expect expanded donut service out of UTC/Sorrento Valley area beginning this June. Stay tuned for updates on the next Mini Donut Company spot by following their Instagram page.
