The restaurant bringing Cajun and Creole flavors to Long Beach has plans to open a second location in Seaport Village.

New Orleans specialties like Po-boys, jambalaya, catfish, and mesquite BBQ, not to mention alligator bites and crawfish etouffee, are what you can expect from this southern-style establishment. Louisiana Charlie’s, the Long Beach-based eatery that’s owned by Eric and Shanda Laurent, has reported plans to share its menu with a new part of town. It appears the eatery will open a second location this fall on W Harbor Drive in San Diego, becoming part of Seaport Village.

From Seafood Boils and Bayou Bowls to Hot Boxes, Louisiana Charlie’s has your southern-comfort food needs covered. The casual dining spot also offers southern desserts like bread pudding and sweet potato pie.

The restaurant’s second location will take up residence in suite 55, next to Seaport Village’s Swings N’ Things.

According to The San Diego Union Tribune, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a fall opening. The owners were unavailable for comment at the time of publication, so you’ll want to follow Louisiana Charlie’s’ social media for updates.
