Founded in China in 2006, Happy Lemon have opened over 1500 locations worldwide and now operates more than 60 in the United States.

Owner Jack Wang has led the San Diego franchise expansion, rapidly widening awareness of the brand over the past several years and strategically placing Happy Lemon locations in the boba-saturated market.

You can find their bright and upbeat tea shops locally in Convoy, Eastlake, Del Mar, Westfield UTC, and Plaza Bonita. Their newest location opened in August next to CSU San Marcos, and they have another storefront planned for Carlsbad. Carlsbad is currently seeking team members for their Fall 2022 opening.

Happy Lemon’s specialty is their Salted Cheese Series, featuring refreshing herbal teas and milk teas topped with a rich complimenting cream cheese topping. Their menu boasts freshly-squeezed lemonade, blended smoothies, and fruit teas with a mix of toppings and add-ins. To accompany their various beverages, you can also grab a bubble waffle to snack on.

Happy Lemon Encinitas is expected to open in Spring 2023. Follow Happy Lemon San Diego on Instagram for location updates and specials.
