Gold Coffee Shop is planning to roll out its second North County cafe. According to a recent permit filing, the coffee shop is expected to join Country Corner Shopping Center in Central Escondido next.
The coffeehouse currently operates one location at The Shoppes at Carlsbad shopping mall which opened in 2020.
Gold Coffee Shop offers a straightforward menu of traditional roasts, espresso-based drinks, cold brew coffee, blended frappe drinks in a variety of flavors like caramel, white chocolate mocha, and chai tea, plus fruit smoothies. The cafe also offers a modest menu of pastries and breakfast sandwiches to accompany its drinks.
An opening date for Gold Coffee’s second location has not been announced. Follow their Instagram page for details and updates.
