Bolt Brewery opened its first location in La Mesa in 2014. Co-owners Molly Rust and Clint Stromberg added a second taproom and kitchen in 2015 at a high-traffic corner in Little Italy.

Its new location in Old Town will reportedly serve a similar menu to Little Italy, with 20 rotating taps, including Bolt’s OG IPA, Surf Lager, and Pacific Pale Ale, with a mix of guest brews, seltzers, and hard kombucha.

Bolt’s kitchen serves up pub classics like Ballpark Garlic Fries, Spicy Fried Pickles, specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches, tacos, and more. Bolt Brewery also offers daily happy hour and weekly specials like Wing Wednesdays and Flight Night on Thursdays to sample its best brews on tap.

Bolt Brewery in Old Town is projected to open by late Summer 2023. Follow Bolt Brewery on Instagram for updates and weekly specials in its two current locations.
