Cosmos Burger is preparing to debut the first of two North County locations soon. According to a recent permit filing, the new burger spot is expected to join Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad soon.
Owner Eren Unur tells What Now San Diego they will gain access to their new stall in the food hall in September and will transition the space into Cosmos Burger. Unur also operates another Windmill Food Hall concept, Lobster Lab, which serves up an assortment of fresh seafood tucked into buttery toasted brioche rolls.
Cosmos Burger has another site in the works, working through the permitting process in Downtown Oceanside.
While a menu has yet to be shared, the restaurant is expected to serve a variety of smash burger styles, cheesy fries, and saucy hot dogs.
Both restaurants are expected to open later this Summer, with the Windmill Food Hall location projected to open by mid-September 2023. Get to know Cosmos Burger by following their Instagram for updates.
