The companion business to Hawthorn Coffee on Adams Avenue, Compa Coffee Roasters focuses on small batch and naturally-farmed roasts. Established in 2015 by founders and coffee lovers Kevin Redmond and son Dylan, Hawthorn Coffee has built an inviting, community-first experience in North Park which will soon grow through Compa’s newest location.

Committed to supporting small farms and environmental sustainability, Compa Coffee Roasters sells their signature roasts on their online shop and through Hawthorn Coffee. Roasted weekly, their house blend is called “Edge of Normal,” signifying Hawthorn’s location on the border of North Park and Normal Heights.

The Compa Coffee Roasters website shares they’ll be joining the Rancho Bernardo community soon but have not specified an opening date just yet. Stay updated by following their Instagram and test the goods by visiting Hawthorn Coffee.
