Tahona Marketplace will move into a 600 square-foot space at the base of the brand new mixed-use development, adjacent to the Market on 8th Food Hall.

Be Saha Hospitality Group operates Tahona Bar and Restaurant in Old Town, and the Absinthe-inspired French Restaurant, Wormwood in North Park. The Tahona brand is known for sourcing a wide selection of Mezcal direct from Mexico.

You can find the best in mezcal and agave cocktails at Tahona Baja in Ensenada and Tahona Mercado in Tijuana, which opened in January 2022. Now the Be Saha folks look to be adding another entity to the Tahona family this side of the border.

Details are scarce about the upcoming Marketplace at this time. Tahona Mercado focuses on education and discovery of Artisanal Mezcals, adding a distribution channel from Oaxaca to the coast of Baja.

The hospitality group is currently staffing management for their new bar concept coming to North Park. No word yet on when we can expect Tahona Marketplace to debut in National City. For now, visit the Tahona online store for direct access to mezcal and tequila products.
