The interior design is anchored by a well-lit bar, drawing attention to their craft cocktail program by Beverage Director Pete Shea. Shea tells What Now San Diego, “The philosophy behind everything is keeping things simple, accessible, and delicious.”

On the menu at Swan Bar you’ll find a selection of gourmet burgers, with gluten-free and vegan options. Their signature burgers include an ode to Denver spot called My Brother’s Bar and comes with jalapeno cream cheese. The Yellowstone Burger is piled with bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce.

At the bar, Shea has perfected six modern classic cocktails on draft. Their specialty martinis are crafted with house-made infusions like the Cosmopolitan with pomegranate grenadine. The Appletini combines homemade apple cordial with ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon. Shea recommends the Dirty Martini served his way, on tap with a blue-cheese stuffed olive. They also have plans for an on-site distillery project to come in the next few months.

The place is decked out in a swanky art-deco style but still carries the comforting neighborhood appeal and a cozy covered patio space to hang out. A swan theme is elegantly carried throughout, from door handles to faucet spouts.

Swan Bar celebrated a soft opening this week and will be open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 4pm-Midnight. Swan Bar is 21+. Check out their full glow up on Instagram
