From the team that brought us Greystone, Saltwater, and The Butcher’s Cut, Owners Vincenzo Lo Verso and Alessandro Minutella will unveil a new globally-inspired concept. Minutella tells What Now San Diego, “It’s a jungle theme with Tulum vibes, lots of greenery, and leaves coming down from the ceiling.”

Minutella shares that the menu will incorporate dishes with Peruvian, Mexican, and Brazilian flavors with Asian influences. The hospitality group is also acquiring a live music permit to bring in a lively musical element and DJs onsite.

There’s no web presence for Zama just yet but be on the lookout for updates from San Diego Dining Group soon. Minutella estimates a July 2022 opening for Zama.
