Founded by Sargis “Sunny” Kopushyan in 2017 with their flagship store in Glendale. The brand has since grown to eight locations across Los Angeles and Riverside County, with Vista and Canoga Park outposts opening soon.

Franchisee Anthony Alvarez tells What Now San Diego that he first tried PokiTomik while working as a firefighter in LA County. Struck by their unique menu and branding, Alvarez spoke to the team about franchising and expanding the brand outside of LA.

Now Alvarez is preparing to introduce PokiTomik to locals in North County, setting up a family-owned and operated restaurant and proudly honoring his firefighter and veteran status. Based in Temecula, Alvarez is considering expanding further with the brand in North County and Inland Empire down the road.

In Vista, guests can look forward to sampling PokiTomik’s take on traditional Hawaiian-style poke. With modern elements and familiar snack favorites, PokiTomik’s menu explodes with flavorful options like poke bowls, burritos, tacos, and nachos, customized toppings and sauces, with cheetos or hot cheetos for added crunch and texture.

Alvarez says their opening date will be dependent on final inspections by the city but his team is ready to hit the ground running once they receive the green light, presumably in Early 2023. Stay updated by following Pokitomik Vista on Instagram
