Panini Kabob Grill has secured space for its next San Diego restaurant. Founder Mike Rafipoor confirms to What Now San Diego that the Mediterranean eatery has moved into the former Great Maple space at the edge of Westfield UTC to open its next restaurant.

Panini Kabob Grill operates three locations in San Diego and 20 across California, with even more growth planned in the LA area this year. 

Specializing in healthy, scratch-made food, Panini Kabob Grill locations offer appetizers like hummus served with warm pita bread, soups made in-house, salads, kabob plates, falafel wraps, paninis, and pasta entrees. Their latest addition to their expansive menu is the Filet Mignon Kabob entree.

A rep for Panini Kabob Grill shares that an exact opening date for UTC is unconfirmed for now but is tentatively expected to open by May 2023. Visit the Panini Kabob Grill website for updates and more information.
