The Waite’s have collaborated with Chris Slowey of CLTVT and Andy McCabe of Tecscape on the development of their next Oceanside location. The restaurant is reportedly inspired by English fish and chips shacks but will bring in elements of Southern California culture with locally-caught seafood.

While we’re still waiting on news of what will become of the former Ruby’s Diner at the end of the pier, locals can trust the Waite’s to bring a delicious element to their adjacent 109-square-foot space. Taking the lead from their other successful North County concepts Wrench & Rodent, The Plot, and Shootz Fish & Beer, the restaurant will incorporate sushi and vegan dishes as well.

The seafood-centric concept is expected to open in Spring 2023. More updates will be shared as they become available.
