Local Canes specializes in sugarcane juice, and while more commonly consumed in Southeast Asia and Latin America, it’s starting to see mainstream popularity alongside Boba Tea shops.

The juice is a unique alternative to bubble drinks and can be mixed with other fruit juices and flavors to bring up or level down the sweetness of the sugarcane. Sugarcane is also used as a healthy supplement to aid in digestion.

We don’t have the full details on their menu offerings but the teasers posted on Instagram show colorful and fruity drinks. Their “Water Malone” layers fresh-pressed sugarcane juice topped with Watermelon juice. Another specialty shows sugarcane juice with fresh lemons and grass jelly.

What Now San Diego reached out to Local Canes for an update on their grand opening. Until then, follow on Instagram for more information and menu teasers.
