The Society announced its newest building, Ruby, located at 101 River Park Drive, San Diego CA 92108, in the heart of Mission Valley. This addition to The Society’s community features 145 apartments, including a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, 6 townhomes, and 10 lofts. Ruby combines mid-century design and architecture with eco-friendly design. Ruby joins The Society’s three other buildings, Margo, Felix and Bradbury.

Designed by architectural firm Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, Ruby has achieved LEED Silver certification, reflecting its adherence to high sustainability standards and commitment to environmental responsibility. This achievement brings a range of benefits to Ruby’s residents, including reduced energy consumption, improved indoor air quality, and a healthier living environment. To enhance the quality of life even further, Vida Design has crafted the interior spaces of Ruby. Each apartment home features custom finishes, such as quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, tile showers, French door refrigerators, waterfall countertops, soft close cabinets and drawers, designer backsplashes, vinyl plank flooring, lighted bathroom mirrors, and in-home laundry. Select apartments feature closet organizers, tile shower surrounds, wine coolers, and tile flooring in bathrooms. Additionally, Ruby includes keyless entry, pre-installed WiFi from Cox and Nest thermostat systems.

Inaugurated in 2020, The Society is centrally located in the heart of Mission Valley within walking distance to the San Diego MTS Trolley, residents are near major social hubs such as the Gaslamp Quarter, North Park, Hillcrest, and Little Italy.
The Society will begin leasing homes in Ruby in June.
