Eat Crispy Burger, an Encinitas-based burger shop, plans to open a handful of locations throughout San Diego County following its upcoming expansion.
The company previously announced it would be opening its second location in the Convoy District by early March. Now, the company is planning to open at least three more locations in the San Diego area by the end of 2024, according to Eater San Diego. Eat Crispy Burger will open its third location in Oceanside at 207 N. Coast Highway in mid-March, followed by a Downtown location and an outpost in Chula Vista’s Eastlake neighborhood.
The new downtown location will sit across from the Port of San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal near the InterContinental Hotel at 901 Bayfront Ct. The exact address for the Chula Vista site is unknown. When these locations open, customers can expect a variety of burgers and chicken sandwiches, as well as burger bowls, milkshakes, and other delicious food and drink options. The owners plan on serving beer and wine once they acquire a liquor license.
Owner Ramzy Rahib, who grew up near Balboa Avenue, owned the Beach Club Grill in Imperial Beach until they sold it around ten years ago. After that, Rahib moved to Los Angeles before returning to San Diego a decade later and settling in Encinitas with his wife, Angela, and their six children. Now that he’s found his groove with the new restaurant, he’s planning to expand the brand throughout the county by the end of the year.
