Common Theory will head south to set up their second location in Chula Vista. Commercial real estate company Spire announced the beercentric restaurant has leased a unit in The Mix at Millenia, located at the core of the growing Millenia community in Otay Ranch.
The Kearny Mesa business swooped up a brand new 4,500-square-foot space overlooking Millenia’s outdoor concert pavilion, parks, and walking trails at the mixed-use development.
Founded by Cristian Liang in 2014, Common Theory is known for their local craft beer offerings and complementary menu of elevated pub foods.
Their gourmet menu features wings, sandwiches, flatbreads, and a mix of Korean, Mexican, and Chinese inspired entrees like Bulgogi Bowls and Birria Tacos.
According to Spire, the restaurant units at The Mix are close to completion. No word yet on when Common Theory is expected to join the new Chula Vista community. Follow Common Theory on Instagram to stay updated.
