The Beach Boys singer, songwriter, and longtime San Diego resident partnered with Geoff Longnecker after purchasing a majority interest in his Miramar-based Seven Caves Spirits. The partnership eventually led to the duo creating and producing a lineup of Club Kokomo canned cocktails for a cruise celebrating the 60th anniversary of The Beach Boys. Now, CBS8 reports the two are taking things to the next level by opening a tasting room in the same Miramar facility.

When the new Club Kokomo tasting room opens this summer, customers can expect surf-themed decor, Beach Boys memorabilia, and plenty of the canned cocktails that have branched out into a full-fledged brand. On top of opening a new tasting room, the company is also starting to get into the spirits game by launching a lineup of premium artisanal rum, including Artisanal White Rum, Tahitian Vanilla Rum, and Barrel Finished Rum. All of the Club Kokomo canned cocktails and rums will be available to taste at the new tasting room, as well as at the Kona Kai Resort on Shelter Island, according to SD News.

“At Club Kokomo Spirits, we pledge to revolutionize your rum journey,” according to the company’s website. “In our San Diego distillery, we blend tradition with innovation to ensure every sip delivers an unforgettable experience. From our artisan-crafted, additive-free rums to our award-winning ready-to-drink cocktails, savor the harmony of flavors that sets us apart. Welcome to Club Kokomo—where every taste is an invitation to paradise.”
